Today, we found this article on Benz Insider about the next generation S Class.  According to the post, the current S Class has been around for close FOUR years! The new version of the Mercedes Benz S Class is set to hit Mercedes Benz dealerships in 2012 or 2013.  We won’t quite know what the next generation Mercedes Benz S Class will look like until up to a year before its launch, but speculation is circulating that the new model with rely on turbocharging and direct injection for power and efficiency.  Read more about the next generation S Class here, and post your thoughts below!

Detroit News spotted the 2012 Mercedes Benz SL a full two years before it’s set to his the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and we’re lucky they did! This exclusive sneak peak at the 2012 Mercedes Benz SL has us really excited for it’s lease.  The 2012 SL maintains the car’s legendary classic layout, along with the retractable metal roof and long front and rear overhangs that have long been key features of this model. New to the 2012 Mercedes Benz SL is the upright grille, which came about due to pedestrian safety regulations in the European Union.  Also different to this model is it’s location.  Formerly production on Mercedes Benz SL models took place in Bremen, Germany, but the 2012 SL will be produced in Stuttgart.

It was a blingtastic event for Mercedes Benz at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.  The annual car exhibit in Japan was literally a star studded event thanks to Japanese car accesories maker, D.A.D, which debuted a Mercedes SL600 covered with over 300,000 Swarovski crystals.  This Mercedes Benz truly fits the gold standard.

What are your thoughts on this decked out vehicle? Would you drive this around town?

“SLK’s main competitor is the BMW Z4, which just got a huge make over. Now we have proof that Mercedes is not waiting to see how the new Z4 sells as it is working on the next generation SLK.

These first pictures reveal us that the next generation SLK will be getting LED daylights, also mirrors are moved to the side of the door(very likely a temporary move).

Front grille is bigger and similar to the one we have seen on the upcoming SLC Gullwing. Of course the car keeps the current retractable hard top. Design wise we expect new SLK to be more sportier than its predecessor.

New SLK will be introduced earliest in 2010 and in addition to the gasoline engines there will be a diesel option as well.”

GlobalMotors.net was recently updated with some new spy-shots of the supposed 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. The vehicle is still heavily camoflauged. It is rumored that it will either be based off the S-Class chassis or an extended E-Class. Take a look at the additional pictures and information provided by GlobalMotors.net.

The 2010 E-Class sedan has already been unveiled to the public. The other variation, know as the E-Class Coupe has yet to be seen without some sort of camouflage on it. Some spy shots as of today have made their way to the web. This recent batch of pictures shows quite a bit less camouflage and some badging on the trunk which upon closer inspection, reveals the model to be an E500.
