Mercedes-Benz at the 2011 North American International Auto Show
Thursday, January 13th, 2011Currently the North American International Auto Show is taking place in Detroit, Michigan. Thanks to Mercedes-Benz.tv we have video highlights of what is going on with Mercedes-Benz. In Detroit, Mercedes-Benz introduced the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-CELL, a new take on their gullwing super sports car. The SLS AMG E-CELL features an electric-drive, zero-emissions powertrain that delivers 525 hp and 649 lb-ft of torque. Also featured was the Mercedes-Benz F-Cell technology which uses a hydrogen-electric powertrain. On January 29, 2011 in Stuttgart, Mercedes-Benz will mark its 125th anniversary with a 20,000 mile F-Cell World Tour to prove the viability of hydrogen fuel.
